This Privacy Policy describes how Roman Peshoff dba Transcend Strategy Group  (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, maintains and discloses information from users (“you” or “User”) of the Hospice Growth Lab platform at hospicegrowthlab.com (the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. The Platform is intended for users in the United States only.


1. Information We Collect

When you create an account and use Hospice Growth Lab, we collect information about how you interact with our platform. This helps us improve our content, support your learning, and provide reporting to organizational subscribers.

Personal Information

We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when you register for an account, purchase a membership, contact us or otherwise interact with the Platform. The categories of personal information we currently collect are limited to the following:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Job title and organization
  • Billing information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store payment card data)

We do not collect health information, protected health information, medical records, diagnosis information, treatment information or other healthcare data through the Platform. You must not submit, upload, or otherwise provide any patient information, protected health information (as defined under applicable federal law, medical records, diagnosis or treatment information, confidential client information, or other sensitive personal data of third parties through the Platform. The Platform is not designed, intended, or authorized to receive, store, or process such information, and we disclaim any liability arising from a user’s submission of such information in violation of this prohibition.

Non-Personal Information

We may automatically collect non-personal information when you interact with the Platform, including browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, general usage data, state or region-level location information derived from your IP address, and information about your activity on the Platform such as pages viewed, features used, course progress and other engagement data. This information helps us understand how the Platform is used and improve the experience for all members.

  • Login activity, including dates and times you access the platform
  • Course and learning activity, including which lessons you view, quiz attempts and scores, course completion status, and certificates earned
  • Content engagement, including which Knowledge Wiki topics you view, time spent on pages, and downloadable resources you access
  • Technical information, including browser type, device type, IP address, and referring website

How We Use This Information

We use activity data to:

  • Provide you with access to courses and content you’ve purchased or been granted
  • Track your progress and issue certificates of completion
  • Improve our content and platform based on which topics and formats are most useful to our members
  • Communicate with you about your account, new content, and renewal information
  • Provide aggregated and individual usage reporting to organizational subscribers (see below) I’d make sure that users are provided notice if their access is organization-sponsored.

Reporting To Organizational Subscribers

If your access to Hospice Growth Lab is provided through an organizational subscription (an Agency Annual membership purchased by your employer or another organization), we may share information about your platform activity with administrators at that organization. This may include:

  • Whether and when you have logged in
  • Courses you have started, completed, or have not yet begun
  • Quiz scores and certificate completion status
  • Wiki topics and resources you have accessed
  • Aggregate time spent on the platform

This reporting is provided so that organizations can support their teams’ professional development and understand the value they are receiving from their subscription. If you purchased an Individual Annual membership directly (not through an organization), your individual activity is not shared with any third party in identifiable form. We may still use aggregated and anonymized data across all members to improve our content and platform.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) and similar tools to understand how members use our platform. These tools may use cookies and similar technologies. Information collected through analytics is used in aggregate to identify patterns and improve the platform.

Your Choices

You can request a copy of the information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account by emailing hello@transcend-strategy.com. Please note that if your access is provided through an organizational subscription, deletion of your individual data may affect your organization’s ability to verify your training completion. 

We may retain personal information, account records, course completion data, billing records, security logs, and other related information to the extent reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, maintain security, process or document billing matters, resolve disputes, support organizational reporting, verify certificates or training completion, enforce our agreements, and for other legitimate business purposes.

Cookies

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, maintain your login session, support core site functionality, and help us understand usage and engagement. We do not currently use advertising pixels, and we do not currently display a cookie consent banner. You may configure your browser to refuse or limit cookies, though some Platform features may not function properly if you do.


2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Account management: To create and manage your membership, process payments, and provide access to Platform content appropriate to your membership tier.
  • Course delivery: To track your progress through the Orientation Course, The Lab and other learning content so the Platform can serve you the right content at the right time.
  • Customer support: To respond to your questions, support requests and account inquiries.
  • Platform improvement: To understand how members use the Platform and make ongoing improvements to content and functionality.
  • Communications: To send transactional emails related to your account (purchase confirmation, membership expiry reminders, course completion certificates) and, where you have opted in, marketing communications about Platform updates and new content.
  • Marketing communications: To send relevant promotional content to prospective or current users where permitted by law and, if we implement a marketing automation platform such as Act-On in the future, to organize and send those communications.
  • AI features and development: We may use artificial intelligence and automated processing in connection with the Platform for the following purposes: (a) personalization – to tailor content recommendations, course sequencing, and Platform features to your usage patterns and preferences; (b) analytics – to analyze engagement data, course progress, and Platform usage to improve content and functionality; (c) content recommendation – to surface relevant courses, resources, or materials based on your activity and profile; (d) summarization – to generate summaries or digests of course or Platform content; and (e) internal model development and training – to develop, train, test, improve, and support AI tools, features, and models used in connection with the Platform and our internal business processes. Categories of data that may be used for AI training include account information, behavioral and usage data, course engagement signals (such as pages viewed, features used, and course progress), and other information you provide or that is generated through your use of the Platform. We do not intentionally use patient information, protected health information, or confidential client data for AI training purposes. All AI-related processing is conducted subject to applicable law.

3. How We Protect Your Information

We use industry-standard data collection, storage and processing practices to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Our security measures include SSL encryption, multifactor authentication where enabled, and website security tools such as WordFence. Payment processing is handled entirely by [Payment Processor], which maintains PCI-compliant infrastructure – we never store credit card numbers on our servers.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. Please do not share your password with anyone. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not currently maintain a formal written breach response protocol.


4. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with the following third-party providers to operate the Platform. Your data is shared with these providers only to the extent reasonably necessary to deliver the services described below.

Stripe (Payment Processor)

Act-On Software (Potential Future Marketing Automation)

We may use Act-On in the future to automate marketing communications and nurture prospective members with relevant content. If implemented, Act-On may track activities for contacts who have provided us with their information and consent where required by law.

LearnDash/MemberDash (Learning Management and Membership Services)

We use LearnDash and MemberDash to manage membership access, course delivery, course progress, and related account functionality. These providers may process account details, course enrollment information, and engagement data in connection with operating the Platform. Google [Analytics via Google Tag Manager Provider via [Tag Management Tool] (Analytics)

We use Google [Analytics Provider] (deployed via Google [Tag Managerment Tool], container GTM-WQCRZFDH[TAG-CONTAINER-ID]) to collect aggregated usage data about how visitors interact with the Platform. LinkedIn [Lead Generation Platform] (Lead Generation)

When you submit a lead generation form through one of our LinkedIn[Lead Generation Platform] advertising campaigns, we may collect your name, email address, company name, and job title as pre-populated by LinkedIn[Lead Generation Platform] upon your consent. This information is used solely to follow up on your expressed interest in Hospice Growth Lab[Platform Name]. We will not sell or rent this information to unaffiliated third parties. 5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties. We may use and share aggregated, de-identified, or non-personally identifiable data with business partners, service providers, or for analytical, operational, product development, or AI-related purposes. Where we de-identify data, we apply methods reasonably designed to prevent re-identification of individuals, consistent with applicable legal standards, including where applicable the de-identification standards set forth under the federal regulations and applicable guidance issued by the Federal Trade Commission. We reserve the right to use de-identified or aggregated data without restriction. We share personal information with third-party service providers only as described in Section 4 and only to the extent necessary to operate, secure, improve and support the Platform.

We use your email address to send transactional messages related to your account and membership. If you opt in to marketing communications, you may receive emails about Platform updates, new content and related resources. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. The Platform is intended for professional adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
